I have a fascination with all things sea themed - I think it stems from a love of mermaids when I was younger! Here I have made a twist necklace with turquoise chips, aquamarine rounds, freshwater pearls and rare Prehnite nuggets. The best part is the Hill Tribe starfish which has such detail to it, it looks real.

I have decided to make a sea themed bracelet using the Eni Oken tutorial for a bangle. I have some Emerald unpolished chunks and a tiny sea horse on the way to decorate it. I’m not sure how I will get on with the intricateness of her design but I’m looking forward to trying that’s for sure. I’ve ordered the beads from www.stoneagehardware.com they have the most unusual gemstone beads including lava rock, how awesome is that?!
