Inspirational jewellery maker..
When browsing eBay yesterday I happened upon a particularly talented jewellery designer and have messaged her to tell just how great her pieces are, I felt that strongly about it!
Here is the link to her eBay shop; Tiger Burning Bright UK
I think what made her designs stand out to me was the amazing attention to detail, with stunning gemstone beads and colour combinations.
I have decided to become a professional silversmith, I’m not sure how to go about this at the moment and how long it will take me but it is my future goal! I have some books on the way from Amazon already!
Anyone reading this had a go?

Just discovered your brilliant blog & really enjoying reading thru’. Thanks for sharing this ebay site, the designs are fabulous & the stones to die for.
About 9 months ago I decided like you that silversmithing & started out on a 1 day course, then a weekend, then 3 days & now I’ve enrolled for a weekly class. I go to Flux n Flame nr Blandford, they have a website which pos up on Google. It’s run by 2 professional jewellers & as far as I can make out is the only school of it’s kind in the south. I’d started by experimenting at home like you & then gradually picking up techniques here & there as well as books from Amazon. In the end though I decided I was going to take it further & needed the guidance of pros not to mention access to equipment which can be very expensive to buy on one’s own. Anyway I haven’t regretted it & I’ve been amazed at what I’ve been able to make.
My confidence has also increased thru’ the very friendly atmosphere at the classes. Now I’m planning to start using the gorgeous gems I’ve got from your website in my pieces. I’ve been saving them until now because I didn’t think my technique would do them justice.
Bye for now Anna x
