Some new pieces…
Thought I’d post a few pieces I’ve made this week I’m really enjoying doing it in the evenings in front of the telly! The gorgeous glass pendants in the top and bottom pics are from The Beadster who have now opened a shop in Shaftesbury, Dorset. Lovely shop on the top of Gold Hill.

Very nice! Made a few pairs of earrings over the hols. Is good fun!
January 4th, 2008 at 8:35 pmThanks Kirsten! It is really relaxing and good fun. Silversmithing is next on my list to try as my partner (mark) got me a kit for xmas. I’d like to make battered silver links first. How did you find soldering, did your Dad show you?

January 4th, 2008 at 9:10 pmI’ve so much on my plate at the moment with my “real life” but I have been beading earrings, I read some of that book you recommended (asked Father Christmas for it!). Am defo going to try it out one day but I have none of the things I need. I’ll have to start with the PMC first and move on. I got a few things from the Silver Corporation to make my earrings. I love their semi-precious stones. I’m going to make some neclaces to go with them. At the moment I’m getting ready to go back to France, do my exams and then sort out my next placement in Spain. I can’t think too seriously about anything else sadly. So have you a jewellery site of your own yet or are you only selling in shops?
Love the top one kate those heart beads are really cool! Gold gives it a nice contrast I think
